PAYE Online – My tax account

myAccount is a single access point for secure online services for individuals to look at their account with Revenue.

myAccount enables you to open up PAYE services (including Jobs and Pensions), Local Property Tax, Home Renovation Incentive and many more services using a single login and password.

You can also update your personal details, review your tax affairs, make payments and apply for certain tax reliefs and incentives.

Advantages to registering for a myAccount:

You will have a single password for your secure tax services
Secure and verified, keeping your identity safe online
Same day access using text or email MyGovID. You can also sign in to myAccount with your MyGovID details if you have a MyGovID verified account.

You can use the following sections of myAccount:

PAYE Services

Allows you to manage your tax record, claim credits, declare income, file a return and let Revenue know about your new job or pension. Use “Review your tax” to get an End of year statement (P21). Use “Manage your tax” to get a Tax credit certificate.

If you start a new job, it is vital that you login to let Revenue know – otherwise you will be put on Emergency Tax.  This penalises anyone who does not let Revenue know that they have changed jobs.

Property Services

Allows you to look at your Local Property Tax (LPT) records, file or pay your LPT/Household Charge (HHC), claim tax relief on the renovation of a property, claim mortgage interest relief and view or start your Help To Buy application.

Payments/Repayments Services

Allows you to pay tax online for most tax types and view your payments history.
